Heirloom weddings and elopements are meant to be an heirloom experience. Something beloved to be passed to weddings of future friends and family. An experience hand-crafted and gifted to the two of you. Never mass produced, and never perfectly the same. We only work a select number of events per year so that we can pour our hearts into each and every celebration.

Hi, there! I’m Emily! I founded Heirloom to be a collaborative bridge between couples and the wedding industry. We give our couples all the heart and creative flow of planning their wedding on their own, with the structure and wisdom of wedding industry veterans. I’m so glad you’re here!

Between my years as a general manager at one of Boulder’s largest catering companies and my degree in the Arts, I am so ready to bring my organizational skills and keen eye for aesthetics to your day.
The creative in me tends to thrive in (happy) chaos — I love taking all of the pieces you’ve thoughtfully collected and putting them together to give you the experience you dreamed of!
I used to go a million miles an hour, but being a mother to my two boys has taught me to balance my love for activity with intentional slow living. Nowadays, I’m pretty much the most chill Type-A you’ll ever meet and I fully believe that the hustle is overrated. I'm in love with song-writing, all things Hygge, and making small changes with a lot of heart.
Hi! I’m Tracey —
My love for weddings began a decade ago as an event planner for a full-service catering company. I then spent 5 years as the Director of Special Events at a venue in Boulder before joining Heirloom Events + Design.
I love a perfectly curated timeline, and I have a passion for design, particularly for a unique reception tablescape (with allll the candles). I'm excited to get to know you and help you bring your vision to life!
When I'm not planning weddings, you will find me on an adventure with my husband and our pup, Kona. I'm originally from Hawaii — fun fact: I named my daughter after Mauna Kea. I love my mountains and getting lost in the unfamiliar - whether it's a hike in the Rockies or visiting a new country (ask me where I've been!).
Hey, I’M CHEYENNE —
I've spent 10+ years in the live arts & entertainment industry as a project manager and content creator, so creating unforgettable shared experiences practically runs in my DNA. My time with Heirloom Events + Design actually started on the other side — as a bride! Spreadsheets and beautiful design are my love languages, so it was no surprise that I had a blast planning my wedding with Heirloom; so much so that I asked to train and be a part of it as a planner. Now, I love to guide couples and pay forward the support that Heirloom gave me in my wedding planning.
When I'm not busy digging through all the details, you'll find me at choir practice, exploring the Denver restaurant scene, or at home watching a movie with my husband, my cat named Mouse, and my corgi named Potato.
