colorado Elopement PLanning
First off, let’s take a minute to celebrate your choice to elope. At Heirloom, we are all about an intentional, meaningful experience that breaks wedding norms, and we are so excited for you!
Here’s the deal —
Elopements have existed forever, but the concept of a relaxed, intentional gathering with only your nearest and dearest blew up in a big way during the pandemic. Despite more and more couples choosing elopements and micro weddings over the last four years, it's difficult to find the same resources and support in your elopement vendors that you get with the big weddings. It seems like your options are a) do everything yourself, or b) hire an "all-inclusive" elopement company, choose from batched vendor packages, and STILL have to design your elopement by yourself.
….sound familiar?
We'll tell you a secret:
There is an option C. You can have a heartfelt ceremony alone on the mountaintop and then come back to a beautifully styled dinner celebration at your AirBnB. You can get married at your favorite restaurant, festooned with floral installations and a swanky table-scape. Most importantly, you can have an incredible intimate wedding with your closest friends and family without a single person having to set up a chair.
We don't believe the Colorado elopement of your dreams should sacrifice the style and support you get with a big wedding. We create a design-forward, done-for-you experience so that you can get back to why you wanted to elope in the first place: quality time with the people you love the most.

You're in luck; most of our couples come to Colorado from other states to elope. The Heirloom team was founded by a Colorado native, and we have a combined 20 years in the Colorado event and wedding industries! We've built a circle of our most trusted local vendors and we'll always help you narrow it down based on what's most important to you.
-
Since your photographer will be with you during your ceremony, they'll be helping you with ceremony locations and any required permits. It helps to book your photographer and elopement location first. Once you have your photographer and venue down, we'll build your elopement around that!
-
You book your own vendors! We have our favorites, but we never make you choose off a list. We primarily partner with All Events for rentals and Plume & Farrow for florals. Once you've booked your vendors, we coordinate with them all the way up to your elopement day.
-
We have our Heirloom signature palettes for you to narrow down a style that speaks to the two of you. From there, we source florals and stylish rentals to elevate the look and feel of your reception. Ceremony decor and florals can be added on for an additional fee if your location allows it.
Here's what other couples have had to say about working with us:
"I can’t even begin to describe how amazing Emily of Heirloom Events was! We got married in Colorado, but live in Boston so were a bit stressed about planning a wedding remotely. Emily made it such an easy process. We booked with her almost a year and a half before, and... she was always available to answer questions, recommend vendors, and help us navigate planning from afar. In the days leading up, she was so wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure we had the most perfect day ever. She also has such a calming presence and our family kept saying how wonderful she was. The whole day felt seamless thanks to her!"
